Skyfire – a must have application
for your mobile phone
January 31, 2010
When I first got my Nokia N82 about 2 years ago, it was the best and greatest little gadget around. It has a 5 megapixel camera, A-GPS, Maps, Games and a fantastic Music Player. The one thing that I was not impressed with was its ability to play online video from sites such as youtube.com. It was slow and most time I was not able to watch any flash videos. I lived with this for a while. The web was filling up with alot of video sites. Video was the in thing. Now you can find instruction videos on computer software, repairing PC, tutorials on 3D animation and many many more things. I installed a few flash players on the phone, but none of them gave a friendly experience.
Then came ‘Skyfire’ from skyfire.com. The ultimate browser for the mobile device. What a fantastic little browser this proved to be. The browser is free. You can watch video from almost any site have pages rendered like they appear on a regular PC. I was delighted to install this on my Nokia phone. I also work on my Windows Mobile based iPAQ. If you have a mobile device head on over to skyfire.com and check out this browser.
